Ola Electric Car Launch:
On August 15, Ola Electric is expected to launch its first electric vehicle in India. Bhavish Aggarwal, the company’s founder and CEO, teased a new product launch on Twitter on the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. While he did not reveal the product’s name, it is likely that the company will launch its first electric vehicle in the country on August 15. Ola Electric has been teasing its four-wheeled electric vehicle for quite some time.

The company will also reveal its “big” future plans at the event. “I’m very excited to announce a new product on August 15th!” “Will also share more about our BIG future plans!!” tweeted Bhavish Aggarwal. Aggarwal says in the tweet that the launch event will be live-streamed online. The broadcast time and link will be announced soon.
This isn’t the first time Ola Electric has teased its upcoming electric four-wheeler. During the Ola Customer Day at the Ola FutureFactory in June of this year, the company teased the device for the first time. Ola Electric has also released a teaser video of the product, which shows sleek LED DRLs with Red hues. The video also showed the car’s front and rear designs, with the Ola logo on both sides.
Ola’s first electric vehicle will most likely be a low-slung, wide vehicle with a coupe-like roofline. The upcoming vehicle is said to be a 4-door sedan with a long battery set and has been teased as the “sportiest car ever.”
Ola Electric is said to be looking for 1,000 acres of land to build its EV four-wheeler factory. This is nearly double the size of its current FutureFactory, where it manufactures S1 Pro electric scooters. In India, the company currently sells two electric scooters: the Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro.
