Bounce Infinity E-Scooters on Flipkart
Bounce Infinity, an electric scooter manufacturer based in Bengaluru, recently declared that it is prepared to begin selling its E1 model on the online marketplace Flipkart to customers in Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and New Delhi. The e-scooter will be offered on Flipkart in July, according to the company, and Bounce has already listed prices there. Buyers will only be required to pay the scooter’s ex-showroom price on the e-commerce platform; all other fees, such as those for registration, accessories, and value-added services, must be paid to the dealer, according to the business.
The CEO and co-founder of Bounce, Vivekananda Hallekere, commented on this news by saying, “The Indian market for electric vehicles is on the verge of innovation, and we’ve been at the forefront of providing customers with the best-in-class EV solution in the form of Infinity E1. We are confident that electric scooter distribution will be an Omni channel play, with e-commerce playing a critical role in its geographical expansion and customer delight. We are excited to make our products available on Flipkart because we see synergies in our vision of meeting customers’ evolving needs in a seamless manner.”
Rakesh Krishnan, senior director of electronics at Flipkart, said, “We are excited to collaborate with Bounce Infinity on this project so they can make their electric scooter available to millions of customers on our platform. Customers will be able to easily place an order on Flipkart through this ground-breaking initiative, which we are testing out in the first round in five cities, and the vehicle will be delivered by the dealer network of Bounce Infinity.
Bounce Infinity began testing its first EV scooter, the E1, in four major Indian cities earlier this year. Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad are among these cities. Prior to these cities, the company provided test rides to prospective buyers in Bengaluru. The scooters were made available in these cities through multiple touchpoints, with the option to book the smart scooter on the spot. Customers who are interested in taking a test ride can do so on the Bounce Infinity website.
