The Telangana Tourism Short Video Contest 2026 invites creators to discover these stories and present them through their own creative lens. Choose a destination, experience or theme and create an original short video that encourages people to explore Telangana.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Video Rules
Please make sure your submission follows all the requirements below.
Instagram Tag & Collaboration
The video must tag and collaborate with Telangana Tourism and Hybiz.tv & Hybiz One on Instagram. Videos that do not follow this requirement may not be considered.
Original Work
Every submitted video must be original work created by the participant or team. Content copied from another creator is not permitted.
Public Viewing
Submitted videos must be publicly viewable on the relevant social media platform.
Recording & Editing
Participants may use a mobile phone, camera or similar equipment. Normal video editing software may be used to prepare the submission.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT
AI Content Rules
Real Footage Is Required
AI-generated video footage, people, locations, scenes or other main visual content are not allowed in the submitted video.
Real Visuals
Main visuals must be real footage recorded by the participant or team.
Minor AI Assistance
AI may only be used for minor editing assistance such as noise removal, basic colour correction or audio improvement.
No AI-Created Assets
AI-generated voiceovers, scripts, images or visual scenes are not allowed unless specifically approved by the organisers.
Verification
Organisers may request original footage to verify the authenticity of a submission.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that all material used in their submission is legally permitted.
Use Content You Have Permission To Use
Participants must not use copyrighted videos, photographs, music or other third-party material without the required permission.
- Use original content wherever possible.
- Obtain permission for third-party material.
- Do not copy another creator's work.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions and complying with copyright requirements for their submission.
Organisers are not responsible for copyright infringement or legal claims arising from participant or third-party material.

Tell a Positive Telangana Story
Your video should celebrate Telangana and encourage viewers to discover its destinations, culture and experiences.
Represent Telangana Positively
Present Telangana in a positive, respectful and tourism-friendly way.
Promote Tourism
Create content that encourages viewers to discover and experience Telangana.
Use Accurate Information
Do not include false, misleading or deliberately inaccurate information.
Keep Content Respectful
Hate speech, offensive content, dangerous activities and illegal acts are not permitted.

Judging Criteria
Entries will be considered across the following aspects of creativity, presentation and connection with Telangana.
Creativity
Creative idea, presentation and visual approach used to tell the story.
Storytelling
Ability to communicate an engaging and meaningful story through short video.
Tourism Appeal
Ability to inspire viewers to discover and explore Telangana.
Originality
Authenticity and originality of the submitted work.
Video Quality
Overall visual, audio and technical quality of the video.
Telangana Connection
Connection with Telangana's identity, culture, destinations or experiences.
IMPORTANT
Disqualification
A submission may be disqualified if it fails to meet the contest requirements.
AI Rule Violation
Violation of the stated AI content requirements.
Copied Content
Submission of copied or plagiarised content.
False Information
Deliberately false or misleading information.
Copyright Issues
Use of copyrighted material without required permission.
Not Tourism Focused
Content that does not support or promote Telangana tourism.
Other Rule Violations
Any other violation of the contest requirements.
ORGANISER'S RIGHTS
Publication & Selection
Organisers may publish selected entries on official social media channels, websites and promotional platforms. Participant credit may be provided when entries are published.
Organisers reserve the right to reject entries that do not meet the contest requirements or comply with these rules.
PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT

By submitting a video, the participant confirms that they have read and understood these rules, agree to follow them and confirm that the submitted work is their own.
