Since the threats, there have been rumors that Salman has upgraded to an armored and bulletproof Land Cruiser.
Notably, on June 5, days after Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala was fatally shot in the Mansa district of Punjab on May 29, Salman and his father Salim Khan got a death threat.
Salim Khan’s security crew discovered the note in front of their Mumbai home close to the Bandra Bandstand promenade, where Salim Khan goes for his daily morning exercise.
In Punjab’s Mansa district’s Jawaharke village on May 29, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot and killed by unidentified assailants. The event happened one day after the Punjab Police, along with 424 other officers, removed his security.
According to police sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity, the actor received a note in Hindi that stated, “Tera Moosawala bana denge,” that Salim Khan and his son will soon suffer the same fate as the murdered singer Siddhu Moosewala.
Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan were threatened by the Bishnoi gang in order to create a situation where they could demonstrate their strength, according to information from the Maharashtra Home Department.
Salman has received threats in the past as well. Because blackbucks are revered in his community, Bishnoi allegedly threatened the actor in 2018 during the blackbuck poaching case trial.
