Ola EV Leads in Two-Wheeler Segment


Ola Electric is upbeat on the future of its sought-after EV Scooter. It has sold 25,000 electric scooters in December 2022 helping to reach a 30% market share.

Ola Electric sold 25,000 electric scooters in India in December 2022, transforming the ride-hailing company into an EV manufacturer with a market share of more than 30 percent. Ola’s founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal tweeted the achievement wishing that the year 2023 will be much bigger compared to last year.

To realise its target the company has embarked on an expansion mode. It will open 200 outlets this year and 100 experience centres. The company also rolled out “MoveOS 3” which is the most recent software update to over 1 lakh customers. Efforts are on to bring out compatibility in charging the EVs anywhere in the selected states. Ola is preparing a road map to increase the presence of EVs in the Indian automobile industry and especially on the roads.
