New PMJ Jewels Store relaunched at Himayatnagar

PMJ Jewels relaunched its new Himayatnagar store. The new store is also hosting a 10-day Biggest Wedding Jewellery Exhibition from Feb 2nd to Feb 11th, marking a momentous occasion for jewellery enthusiasts & connoisseurs alike. Smt. Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy, Deputy Mayor, Hyderabad graced the event as chief guest & relaunched the Himayatnagar store along with Mr.Kusuma Kiran, Cluster Head, PMJ Jewels & Mr. Mohammed Thahir, Store Head, PMJ Jewels Himayatnagar in the august presence of their customers. With the relaunch of this new store, PMJ Jewels mark its presence of more than 30+ stores in four states in India.

Achieving self-reliance in strategic materials along with their manufacturing capabilities is vital to secure the goal of Atmanirbharta in defense production, said Dr. G Satheesh Reddy, Former Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister. Dr. Reddy, also the President of the Aeronautical Society of India, was speaking at the inauguration of the Industry Connect meet on ‘Strategic Materials and Manufacturing Technologies,’ organized by CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science & Technology (CSIR-NIIST)on its campus at Pappanamcode here. Dr C Anandharamakrishnan, Director, CSIR-NIIST, Thiruvananthapuram, presided over the function.

KSUM’s research network RINK conducts visit to Institute of Advanced Virology

Firming up the collaboration between the startup ecosystem and research and Development institutions in the state, the Research Innovation Network Kerala (RINK) of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM)had fruitful interactions with the scientific community at the Institute of Advanced Virology (IAV). As part of the initiative, an exposure visit was made by RINK to the IAV campus at Life Sciences Park here recently. IAV is an autonomous institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Kerala.

Docu film on Hermann Gundert to be premiered in city

A document-film on German missionary & linguist Hermann Gundert, who made seminal contributions to Malayalam language, literature, & journalism, will be premiered on February 5 in the city as an initiative of the German Consulate in Bengaluru and Goethe-Zentrum, Thiruvananthapura. After the 1st screening at Goethe-Zentrum in Jawahar Nagar before guests, the film will be uploaded on YouTube. Directed by Ganesh Shankar Raj and his team from Inner Eye World, the film delves into the profound impact of Gundert on the cultural and educational spheres in Kerala, as a tribute to his 209th birth anniversary.
