Lakshmi Manchu, an actor, producer, and philanthropist, brings Teach for Change into collaboration with Pegasystems India to implement a comprehensive development program at Government primary schools in Jafferguda, Hyderabad, Telangana. The inaugural event for the refurbished Government Primary School in Jafferguda saw the presence of Teach for Change Chairperson Lakshmi Manchu, Ddharaniikota Ssuyodhan (Lead Counsel for India & International Corporate Law at Pegasystems), and Rohini Devi (District Education Officer, Hyderabad). This ceremony marked the initiation of a holistic development initiative across several schools in the region.

The planned enhancements encompass the construction of a boundary wall, stage, borewell, painting, artwork, and other essential amenities to establish an enriching learning atmosphere for the students. Teach for Change, under Lakshmi Manchu’s guidance, has been actively involved in various educational initiatives, with Pegasystems, represented by Ddharaniikota Ssuyodhan, serving as a key CSR partner for Teach for Change.

In the academic year 2023-24, the organization achieved a significant milestone, impacting 10,935 students across 243 smart classrooms. The dedicated efforts of 464 volunteers have played a crucial role in supporting and teaching in government schools across three states. These initiatives are part of a broader mission to elevate the quality of education in government schools, creating positive waves in the education sector.

The inaugural ceremony not only celebrated infrastructural development but also testified to the collaborative efforts of Teach for Change, Pegasystems, and local educational authorities.
