Ritu Shah, Pink Reddy, Seethakka K Srinivas Reddy and Aaarthi Shah

Hyderabad: FICCI Ladies Organisation (FLO) and Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) presented Hyderabad business awards at a glittering function in the erstwhile British residency building in the Koti Women’s College.

In all 24 awards were given away in various categories, including manufacturing sector, philanthropy, sustainability, education, healthcare, wellness, aesthetics and beauty, innovation and technology, art and culture and service industry.

Those figuring in this year’s roll of honour included Anjum Babukhan, Vishaka Reddy, Sharada Lingaraju, Abhikasha Bisht, A. Devasena, Sharmila Hirendranath and Dinaz.

The meeting was jointly presided over by Ritu Shah, chairperson of FLO and Arthi Shah, chairperson of Young YFLO.

peaking at the event, minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said, “Women are still looked down upon by society. The awards will boost self-confidence and serve as inspirations.”

Hyderabad police commissioner K. Sreenivas Reddy lauded FLO, saying, “Let the flow of FLO continue.”

‘Huma,’ a ballet designed and directed by Muzaffar Ali was performed on the occasion. The touching ballet, based on the legendary bird huma, is an Arabic folklore about a celestial bird with wish-fulfilling powers.

Sufi singer Adil Hussaini stood out with his soulful renditions.
