He expressed his aim to elevate Telangana to a global competitive level by prioritizing top-tier education, enhancing employability, and fostering skill development initiatives.

In his inaugural address, Mr A Revanth Reddy, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, revealed the government’s strategy to advance education and skilling through partnerships with industry giants like Tata, Mahindra, and Century. He mentioned that this collaborative effort aims to revolutionize the skilling landscape. The establishment of 10 skill universities in rural areas marks a significant milestone in Telangana’s skilling journey. These universities, serving as hubs of excellence, will have industry partners contributing to curriculum design while the state ensures regulatory oversight. Graduates will emerge well-prepared for diverse career paths, equipped with skills essential for success in today’s job market. An innovative aspect of this initiative is the elevation of skill-based courses to degree status, offering graduates unprecedented opportunities for advancement. With the flexibility to pursue competitive exams or secure employment in specialized fields, graduates will enhance their global competitiveness and employability, driving economic growth and prosperity. Mr Reddy commended CII Telangana and Telangana Development Forum for providing a platform to address this pressing issue.
