she said that “ I had this idea in my mind for a long time but never thought it would be possible. My aim is breaking stereotypes and inspiring people who are “weary of finding genuine love”.
Bindu, who self-identifies as bisexual, also claims that her marriage will be India’s first solo marriage (Sologamy). And she also said that “I realized that because I am my own queen, I don’t need a prince charming. on June 11, I decided to marry myself. Instead of going with the groom, I will dress up as a bride, participate in ceremonies, have my friends attend my wedding, and then return to my house” she told.

“According to the Indian government, it is incorrect because women and men are supposed to marry and live happily in this society. In addition, Self-marriage is strictly prohibited in India. Marriage necessitates the presence of two persons” Supreme Court senior advocate Krishnakanth Vakharia said. “Sologamy is against the India law” He added.
Till now No country’s legal system has recognized sologami. A self-wedding ceremony is largely symbolic and not legally binding in general. This means that changing one’s marital status on legal documents is not required.
