Hyderabad: Currently, the prices of rice in the market have increased significantly. Although the production of rice has increased all over the country, the prices of rice are increasing day by day and not coming down. In order to provide relief to the common man, the Center brought Bharat Rice.

To provide quality rice at a low price to the poor and common people, Govt of India has brought rice under the name of Bharat Rice. A kilo of rice is being sold at Rs 29. Sales of this rice have already started.

National Agriculture Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Limited (NAFED), National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India Limited (NCCF), are selling rice at central Bhandar retail centers as well as mobile outlets.

You can get Bharat Rice from Central Bhandar at Kothi, NAAFED near Gunpark, NCCF at Sultan Bazar. Bharat Rice is sold in these centers. Mobile outlets will also be launched soon.

Moreover, Bharat brand rice is also sold in e-commerce. Bharat Rice can also be ordered on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Jiomart, which are currently unavailable. Soon it will be sold in these Ecommerce sites.

Bharat Rice is available in 5 kg and 10 kg bags. In the first phase, five lakh tonnes of rice will be sold in the retail market, the Center said. At present, a kilo of thin rice is Rs.60-70 in the open market. Compare to it Bharat Rice is much cheaper.

Despite the ban on rice exports, the prices have increased by 15 percent.. India has brought rice for the common man. It is known that the center is already selling Bharat wheat flour at Rs.27.50 per kg and Bharat gram at Rs.60 per kg. These are also getting good response from the common people.

The Center has also taken steps to control rice prices. It has been revealed that the ban on rice exports will continue until the price of rice comes down. Retailers, wholesalers and processors have been directed to upload stock details on the ministry’s website every Friday. It has made it clear that a limit will be imposed on reserves if necessary.
