India’s mini Switzerland “Auli” is seen spreading beauty in a different color every time. Auli is one of India’s favorite Himalayan destinations. Auli is located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Its altitude is 3,000 meters above sea level. Many mountain ranges are visible from here. Apart from this, many types of adventure activities are also done here. It is considered to be one of the best skiing destinations in India. Tourists come from all over the country and abroad to see the beauty here.There is a lot of snowfall here during the winter season. Trishul Mountain, situated 23490 feet above sea level, is a major attraction of Auli.

The name of tis mountain is taken from the trident of Lord Shiva. A mysterious reservoir, Roopkund Lake is situated beneath this mountain. The highest mountain in India, Nanda Devi is situated at an altitude of 7,817 metres. Nanda Devi is one of the highest hill stations in India. The peak takes its name from the blessings of the goddess herself. Nanda Devi National Park that surrounds the peak is also a place where you can see flora and fauna and biodiversity.
