AstraZeneca’s Global Technology Centre in India increases focus on Driving innovation

AstraZeneca India Private Limited (AZIPL), the company’s Global Capability Centre (GCC), said today that it has rebranded its Global Technology Centre (GTC) as the Global Innovation and Technology Centre (GITC).

The GTC in Chennai has continuously produced market-leading IT services and capabilities for AstraZeneca’s global company over the last eight years. The center’s portfolio has developed from standard IT services to a critical engine for AstraZeneca’s digital journey and a constant source of technology innovation since its beginnings.

The Chennai center has been successful in increasing efficiency, simplification, technology delivery, and innovation across AstraZeneca’s business, as well as supporting the supply of life-changing medications to patients around the world. The rebranding represents the expansion of the center’s capabilities, as well as its dedication to driving innovation and leading the firm toward a digitally empowered future.
