Anoop Ambika new CEO of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM)
Shri Anoop Ambika has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) by the State Government for the next 3 years.
He brings with him over 26 years of industry experience. Before this appointment, Shri Anoop was the CEO of the biotech firm Genpro Research. He had worked in a clinical data management company Kreara Solutions in the same capacity for more than 12 years.
Hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, Shri Anoop is a graduate in B.Tech and has his post-graduation in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics from the University of Kerala.
Starting as a Design Engineer in Bengaluru-based General Electric, Shri Anoop later joined Lucent Technologies in Boston, US.
A serial entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, Shri Anoop has co-founded several technology startups. He also represents Kerala Knowledge-Economy Mission (KKEM) on Kerala State Planning Board.
An art enthusiast and cultural organizer, Shri Anoop had served as the Patron of Natana, the arts and cultural forum of IT companies in Kerala.
With Proficiency in international sales & marketing, policy making, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Life Sciences, ideation and entrepreneurship, the Kerala government believes Anoop Ambika to be a fantastic leader for the Karela Startup mission.
KSUM is the state government’s nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities.
