Škoda Auto India celebrates a significant milestone by maintaining robust sales momentum, surpassing 100,000 car sales in the past two years. This accomplishment underscores the success of its India-centric product strategy, highlighted by the tailored-for-India launches of world-class models, Kushaq and Slavia. These models played a pivotal role in achieving sales volumes that previously took over six years to reach.
While 2022 was a record-breaking year for Škoda Auto India with the launches of Kushaq and Slavia, 2023 faced slight momentum challenges due to supply issues. Despite this, Škoda achieved sales of 48,755 units from January 1 to December 31, 2023. Petr Janeba, Brand Director, emphasized the company’s focus on consolidation, product enhancements, network expansion, and customer satisfaction in 2023. Despite supply challenges in the first half of the year, the company concluded the last quarter of 2023 on a positive note. Looking ahead to 2024, Škoda plans exciting product actions, new announcements, growth through exports, and network expansion, maintaining a laser-sharp focus on customer delight.
