Exams and fun rarely go hand in hand. But SIP Academy just flipped that idea on its head with SIP Prodigy 2025, turning a traditional math exam into a musical celebration! Imagine 3,100 children solving sums while singing, dancing, and grooving to energetic beats — that’s exactly what happened at this one-of-a-kind event in Hyderabad.
A Math Exam Like No Other
Hosted at Classic Convention Three, Shamshabad, the 21st edition of the Telangana Regional Prodigy 2025 welcomed:
- 3100 students aged 6–12
- From over 70 SIP centres across Telangana
- Competing in abacus and mental arithmetic
And the twist? The kids weren’t just solving problems — they were doing it while vibing to loud music and dancing!
The 3 Power-Packed Rounds
The event featured three unique rounds, each testing different skills:
1. Abacus Round
For beginners using physical abacuses to solve sums accurately and quickly.
2. Visual Round
Students visualized the abacus in their minds, solving problems without any physical tools — a true test of mental math mastery.
3. Concentration Round
The highlight of the day! Students tackled 200 math problems in 11 minutes — while singing, dancing, and moving to loud music. This round proved that focus has no volume limit.
A Festival of Focus and Fun
With over 4,000 people in attendance — including parents, 300+ invigilators, and volunteers — the energy was electric. The hall felt more like a music festival than a math competition.
“It felt more like a celebration than an exam!” – A parent in awe of the children’s calm and concentration
With a legacy that spans:
- 23 Indian states
- 1,000+ centres
- Over 10 lakh children trained
- 11 countries worldwide
- 5 Limca Book of Records
