The XI Telangana State Shooting Championship 2025 came to a successful close today at the SATS Shooting Range, Gachibowli, wrapping up ten days of spirited competition, sportsmanship, and precision shooting. Held from June 21 to 30, the event drew over 1,250 shooters from across Telangana, spanning all age groups and disciplines.

The final day featured the 50M 3P events for both Men and Women, concluding the championship’s second phase. Events such as the 10M Air Rifle/Open Sight Rifle, 50M Rifle, 50M Open Sight, and Open Sight 3P were conducted with meticulous attention to detail, upholding the highest standards of fairness and professionalism.

Top Athletes Shine on the State Stage

This year’s championship witnessed outstanding individual performances:

  • Mohd Abdul Khalique Khan Mustafa Khan dominated multiple disciplines, winning 5 gold medals.
  • Tanmay Onkar Roy showcased exceptional skill in the 10M Rifle events, securing 4 gold medals.
  • Dhavalika Devi Nyamurs emerged as a top performer in the women’s category, also bagging 4 gold medals.

These achievements reflect the high caliber of competition and the promising future of shooting sports in Telangana.

The medal ceremony for the second phase was held with grandeur, honoring athletes in categories like 50M Pistol, 50M Rifle, and 10M Open Sight Rifle. Several winners also secured qualification for the upcoming Pre-National Championships, marking the championship as a key milestone in their sporting careers.

Mr. Amit Sanghi, President of the Telangana Rifle Association (TRA), congratulated all medalists and participants for their unwavering focus, discipline, and performance. He expressed deep appreciation for the NRAI officials and certified support team for maintaining the integrity and smooth conduct of the event.

“This championship represents not just competition but a celebration of talent, discipline, and unity in the shooting community,” said Mr. Sanghi.
