Telangana Took Second Rank:

In the third edition of the innovation index list published by NITI Aayog, Telangana took second rank. After considering 66 distinct factors, including luring FDI and venture capitalists, fostering a business-friendly climate, and finding novel ways to address systemic issues, NITI Aayog has published the “India Innovation Index 2021.”

17 substantial states, 10 North Eastern states, hilly states, 9 Union territories, and state capitals (city state). These rankings are made public by NITI Aayog to determine whether states have an environment that encourages the development of new ideas. The Global Innovation Index is being used as the foundation for this index.

Karnataka has taken first place in the group of 17 big states for the third consecutive year. The following two states are Telangana and Haryana. The final three positions on the innovation index are held by the states of Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Bihar.

The ninth-placed state was Andhra Pradesh. According to the relevant parties, Telangana and Karnataka are the top states for luring in venture capitalists and overseas investments, which is why they received high marks.

The states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have been able to construct a secure ecosystem to draw in more investments, according to NITI Aayog, and these states have been able to create an innovative business environment due to the vast number of people utilising the Internet. Because of this, several states were able to raise their rankings.
