  1. Installation Of Solar Unit On Rooftop, Annual Saving Rs 18,000
    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the interim budget for the financial year 2024-25, said that by installing solar units on rooftops, one crore families will be able to get up to 300 units of free electricity every month. She said that this scheme fulfills the resolution of Prime Minister taken on the historic day of consecration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. “By using free solar power and selling the surplus power to distribution companies, families will save Rs 15,000-18,000 annually,”
  2. People Received Rs 34 Lakh Crore Through DBT
    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that till now Rs 34 lakh crore has been given to people in the country through DBT. The public as well as the government are benefiting greatly from DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer in the last 10 years, the government has provided an amount of Rs 34 lakh crore to the common people through DBT. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the budget speech that Rs 34 lakh crore was transferred through PM Jandhan yojana. By using this the government has saved funds on large scale.
  3. Good News For Startups To Avail Tax Benifit
    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has extended the last date for the benefits of certain special tax exemptions to startups in Budget 2024. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said certain tax benefits for investments made by startups are set to expire on March 31, 2024. Which has now been extended to 31 March 2025. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman praised startups while giving her budget speech in Parliament.
  4. Emphasis On Making INDIA Self-Reliant In Edible Oil
    Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the government will formulate a strategy to make India self-reliant in edible oils by promoting domestic production of oilseeds and a comprehensive program to support dairy farmers.Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the Interim Budget 2024-25, said that the government will focus on post-harvest activities to boost food processing and farmer’s income.
