Telangana Tea Championship 2024
Water is the most consumed drink in the world. After water TEA is the second most popular drink around the globe. Every nation and culture has its own way of consuming and presentation of tea. Be it Japan, America, China, the UK, or Europe -every country has its own distinctive style of drinking this AMRIT RASS (eternal bliss).
India being a unique country on its own also offers a variety and specialties of drinking and serving the eccentric drink. As we know there are many types of tea leaves and a variety of flavours, the city of Nizams – Hyderabad also offers a range of flavoursome CHAI. In fact, tea is an important part of the people of Hyderabad and Telangana. It’s an emotion and to celebrate our feelings, respect, madness, and crazy obsession over the magical leaves of tea, 1st time in Hyderabad and both the Telugu states, HybizTv is organizing a TEA MAKING COMPETITION (TMC) at the Telangana Tea Championship on 7th March 2024.
All around the world many countries like China, Japan, USA, Russia, Australia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, etc have been organising festivals to celebrate tea, it’s making, flavours, and various traditions associated with it. In India, only the state of Assam in the northeast celebrates the tea festival every year. The festival has been acting as one of the main boons for the tourism of Assam. Hyderabad and the two Telugu states would be an addition to the celebration of tea after Assam. The event would encourage experiential tourism in the respective states.
HybizTv is inviting women from all walks of life to come forward and participate in the competition. The participants would be judged by a panel of experienced judges and the first winner would be awarded an amount of Rs. 1 Lakh as a reward. The second position holder would be awarded prize money of Rs. 50,000/-. The third position holder would be awarded prize money of Rs. 25,000/- and 5 runner-ups, would be awarded Rs. 10,000/- each respectively.
1st Prize: 1 Lakh
2nd Prize: 50,000/-
3rd Prize: 25,000/-
5 Runnerups – 10,000/- each
