Telangana has marked a significant milestone in the food and beverage manufacturing sector with the inauguration of Telangana’s Largest Juice Manufacturing Facility in Hyderabad. Valencia Nutrition Limited (VNL) formally inaugurated Unit II of its integrated beverage manufacturing plant under its subsidiary Valencia Beverages and Super Water (VBSW) at IDA Phase 2, Charlapally, in January 2026.

The new facility was inaugurated by Manish Turakhia, Visionary Promoter and Managing Director of Valencia Nutrition Limited. The commissioning of Unit II represents a major step in the company’s long-term expansion strategy, which targets the development of 27 manufacturing plants across India. This approach reinforces VNL’s decentralised manufacturing model, enabling faster distribution and improved cost efficiency for mass-market PET bottle beverages.

Both Unit I and Unit II were designed and executed by VNL’s in-house engineering team, with project leadership from Jay Shah, Executive Director of VBSW, and John P Michael, Director at VBSW. Their efforts ensured rapid execution, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness within a highly compressed timeline.

Spanning approximately 49,700 square feet, VBSW Unit II is Telangana’s Largest Juice Manufacturing Facility and houses India’s first hybrid hot-fill juice-line manufacturing system. This advanced infrastructure allows the production of juices, fruit-based drinks, pulp beverages, nata-de beverages, and soda variants on a single integrated line. The facility has a production capacity of 3,00,000 bottles per day and includes a 1,20,000-litre-per-day RO water system, high-speed PET bottling lines with 38 mm necks, and IoT-enabled production monitoring for real-time visibility and supply chain planning.

As part of the inauguration, VNL also announced a new, affordable packaging format for its popular Bounce Super Drinks portfolio, including category brands such as Vitafizz, Pulpify, and Powerplay. This move aligns with the company’s focus on high-volume distribution and wider consumer reach.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Turakhia emphasised that efficient machinery layout, execution speed, regulatory coordination, and on-site leadership are critical to building complex manufacturing plants without extended timelines. He highlighted that the facility was commissioned within three months and established at nearly 60% of typical market costs, demonstrating Valencia Nutrition Limited’s commitment to operational excellence and rapid scalability.
