Karthika Mahotsavam 2025 began today at the MCH Grounds on Dharam Karan Road in Ameerpet. The event, organised by Hybiz One, drew several devotees and families who came to participate in the spiritual celebrations.
The three-day festival will feature a series of sacred rituals including homams, vrathams, abhishekams, and parayanams, conducted in a traditional and devotional atmosphere.
Ceremonial Beginning with Ganapathi Homam & Maha Chandi Homam

The first day commenced with the Sri Ganapathi Homam, followed by the Sri Maha Chandi Homam, performed with strict adherence to Vedic procedures. Under the guidance of Vedadri archakas, the rituals were accompanied by powerful Vedic chanting, creating a deeply spiritual environment.
Dr. C.H. Preeti Reddy, Vice Chairperson of Malla Reddy University, attended the event as the Chief Guest and participated in the Maha Chandi Homam. A large gathering of devotees took part in the rituals and received divine blessings.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Preeti Reddy said:
“The world is rapidly advancing in the field of technology. We are progressing and developing many modern innovations. However, amidst this growth, we must never forget our roots—our culture, our traditions, and our Sanatana Dharma. These values should be preserved and followed. Performing homams and poojas is essential for our spiritual well-being.”
A Three-Day Spiritual Celebration
The Karthika Mahotsavam will continue for three days, featuring various devotional programs designed to promote cultural values, spiritual awareness, and traditional practices among the community.
