One of India’s largest student-led hackathons, HackPrix Season 2, just wrapped up its high-octane 36-hour coding marathon hosted by Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad. With over 3,000 registrations pouring in from 85+ cities, the event saw 550+ students selected to compete in an innovation-packed coding challenge that pushed the limits of creativity and technology.
What HackPrix Season 2 Offered
This wasn’t just another hackathon. Students tackled real-world problems using AI, ML, Web3, and embedded tech. From healthcare to safety solutions, the projects reflected bold thinking and strong execution.
Notably, over 100+ women coders participated this season, many of them creating tools for women’s safety and empowerment.
Speaking at the finale, Mr. Tauseef Ahmed, Vice Chairman of Lords Institute, said:

The event gave away a prize pool of ₹1.25 lakh, rewarding excellence in coding, originality, and teamwork.

Furthermore, free food and accommodation helped finalists focus purely on innovation. The organizing team, composed entirely of students, ensured smooth coordination from start to finish.
