On the occasion of World Liver Day, Sairam Hospitals organized a liver health awareness rally that saw strong participation from the local community, medical professionals, and dignitaries. The rally began at SP Stadium and concluded at Lakaram Tank Bund, drawing attention to the importance of liver health and early prevention of liver diseases.

World Liver Day is observed every year to spread awareness about the importance of maintaining liver health. The liver plays a vital role in digestion, detoxification, and overall metabolism. However, many people are unaware of common liver diseases such as fatty liver, hepatitis, and cirrhosis, which can be prevented or managed with early diagnosis and lifestyle changes.
Event Highlights
The awareness rally was led by Dr. Thummala Yugandhar, Senior Congress Leader, who joined as the chief guest. Dr. B. Kalavathi Bhai, District Medical and Health Officer, attended as the guest of honor. Medical associations such as IMA, TGDA, and TGMC actively participated, along with doctors, staff, and leadership from Sairam Hospitals, including:

Liver Day Health Kits were also given out, filled with helpful tools and health tips.
A fun photo booth added smiles and memories, with people taking pictures to remember the day.
