According to a report from Swiggy, an online food delivery sevice provider, Biryani was the most ordered dish in 2024 as well. The report states that this year, 2 Biryanis were ordered every second, followed by Masala Dosa, which received 2.3 crore orders.
Chole, Aloo Paratha, and Rasmalai Also Gained Popularity
In Delhi, Chandigarh, and Kolkata, Chole, Aloo Paratha, and Kachori were the most ordered dishes. Biryani was also the most ordered dish on the train. As for Sweets, Rasmalai and Sitaphal Ice cream were the top favorites this year.
One Person Ordered ₹49,900 Worth of Pasta!
According to the Swiggy report, a customer in Bengaluru ordered Pasta worth ₹49,900 this year. Chicken Roll was the most preferred snack with 24.8 lakh orders, and chicken Momos were also a big hit.
