Billionaire Elon Musk has made his ‘AI Chatbot Grok’ free for everyone. Now, users won’t have to pay any fee to use it. The chatbot will be available on the social media platform X. Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI launched Grok in 2023, initially integrated with X, which required a premium membership for access.
Grok Enjoys Humor
After the launch, Musk wrote on X that ”Grok has real-time access to the X platform, which gives it an advantage over other models.” He also mentioned that Grok enjoys humor, though he wasn’t sure how it was guided to behave this way. Musk had also pointed out that the AI responses are often mixed with humor.
Musk’s New AI Company xAI Launched in July 2023
In July 2023, Elon Musk launched a new AI company, xAI with the goal of understanding the true nature of the universe. Musk had stated that within five years, AI will surpass human intelligence. The xAI team includes people who have worked with Deepmind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and Tesla.
