What is flight simulator training?
Before moving ahead, let us know what flight simulator training is all about? Actually, you will be very familiar with the cockpit in Airbus or in any aircraft. Inside which the pilot and co-pilot fly. In order to maintain continuity of their flying expertise, they are required to expose themselves to flying conditions under similar circumstances for a specified number of hours over a required period. Now in terms of training, if the pilots travel with the entire Airbus, it can prove to be a very expensive deal. Training a new pilot by making him sit in a big Airbus would also be expensive. Therefore, simulators equipped with all the cockpit technology are arranged. Sitting in it, the pilot or trainee goes through the same kind of shock or pressure process as he experiences in reality while flying. In India, DGCA works as a regulator and as per their guidelines, pilots have to go for simulator training.

Koushik Manepalli said that the priority of his company Orbit Flight Training Center is to have aviation simulators equipped with advanced and specialized technology in India.
