Auli in Chamoli Uttarakand called India’s mini Switzerland

Auli is located in the Chamoli district of the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. Its altitude is 3,000 meters above sea level. Many mountain ranges are visible from here. The name of tis mountain is taken from the trident of Lord Shiva. A mysterious reservoir, Roopkund Lake is situated beneath this mountain. The highest mountain in India, Nanda Devi is situated at an altitude of 7,817 metres. Nanda Devi is one of the highest hill stations in India. The peak takes its name from the blessings of the goddess herself. Nanda Devi National Park that surrounds the peak is also a place where you can see flora and fauna and biodiversity.
