The Entire State Of Assam Will Fly 80 lakh National Flags:
In Assam 80 lakh flags will be hoisted as the occasion “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. And the rural and urban families, as well as public and private institutions, schools, and enterprises, will be participate in this programme.
According to officials, 80 lakh national flags would be flown from residences, places of employment, and commercial structures throughout Assam from August 13 to August 15. This will be done as a part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Program, which is being run by the Ministry of Culture as part of the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” a commemoration was decided this programme of 75 years of independence. As part of this effort, 20 crore tricolours will be hoisted throughout the country with the public’s assistance. The purpose of the campaign is to instil a sense of patriotism in the public and raise awareness of the national flag.
The Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Information and Public Relations Department, and other government departments in Assam have begun planning for the program’s successful implementation. As a result, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department has begun producing national flags locally through self-help groups in a variety of sizes.
Additionally, the agency will set up shops in districts and villages where people can buy national flags close to where they live. The Chief Minister took part in a video conference with G Kishan Reddy, the Union Culture Minister, and Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, to discussed the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” programme.
