The “Young Chefs Olympiad” 2025, organized by the International Hospitality Council (IHC) in partnership with the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), is ready to take place in India. This is the world’s largest student chef competition, with young chefs from 50 countries participating. These chefs will compete in two rounds of cooking challenges to win the prestigious YCO 2025 Golden Trophy.

The competition aims to promote unity and collaboration, with young chefs coming together from around the world to strengthen bonds between countries through food. Speaking about the event, Dr. Suborno Bose, President of IHC and founder of YCO, said that this could be the most spectacular event so far. He mentioned that despite global challenges, travel continues, and this year, the “Young Chef India” competition saw participation from chefs across the country.

This year, the theme of the Young Chefs Olympiad is “Humanity and AI,” focusing on how AI technology can empower humanity. The first round of the competition will begin on February 3 in Goa and February 4 in Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru. After that, the top 10 chefs will showcase their skills in the grand finale on February 8 in Kolkata.
