BCCI Announced The Team India T20I Roster

BCCI Announced The Team India T20I Roster:

The Team India T20I squad for the upcoming five-match series against the West Indies was released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The lineup for the five-match Twenty20 International series against the West Indies was decided by the All-India Senior Selection Committee, and the BCCI has already made the roster public. Virat Kohli’s replacement as captain for ODIs and T20Is will be Rohit Sharma.

The focus is on the shortest format of the game, though, because the T20 World Cup 2022 will be held in Australia in just under three months.

On July 29, West Indies and India will play their opening T20I game in Tarouba, Trinidad. On August 1 and 2, Basseterre will host the second and third Twenty20 Internationals, while Florida, the United States, will host the final two Twenty20 Internationals on August 6 and 7.

Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who was unexpectedly added to the team after missing the South Africa and England series, has been called up to the T20I team. KL Rahul, a left-arm wrist spinner, and Kuldeep Yadav, an opener, were both picked to the team.
