The city of Thiruvananthapuram came alive on October 12, 2025, as more than 10,000 runners participated in the UST Trivandrum Marathon 2025. The event, organized by UST, a leading AI and technology transformation company, in collaboration with NEB Sports, turned into one of Kerala’s largest community fitness celebrations.
A Grand Celebration of Fitness and Unity
The marathon started from the UST campus in Technopark and spread across the city, bringing together people from all walks of life. This year’s marathon included four exciting categories — the full marathon, half marathon, 10K run, and 5K fun run — offering something for everyone, from professionals to first-time runners.
Actor and fitness icon Milind Soman, who is also the event’s brand ambassador, led the runners with his trademark energy and enthusiasm. The event also saw the presence of Thiruvananthapuram District Collector Anu Kumari IAS, Air Marshal Tarun Chaudhary VSM, and several UST leaders, adding prestige to the occasion.
Community Spirit and Corporate Commitment

The UST Trivandrum Marathon 2025 wasn’t just about running — it was about building community spirit. UST’s leadership team, including Alexander Varghese (President) and Manu Gopinath (President), emphasized the company’s commitment to promoting physical and mental well-being among citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, Alexander Varghese said, “Our goal is to inspire people to live healthier and happier lives. The overwhelming participation this year shows how deeply the idea of fitness resonates with the people of Kerala.”
Inspiring Numbers and Growing Participation
With over 10,000 participants and ₹22 lakh in prize money, the event broke records for participation and engagement. Runners from across the state and beyond took part, making it a true celebration of endurance, determination, and togetherness.
