In a powerful move to raise awareness and save lives, FUJIFILM India, in collaboration with the Apollo Foundation, has launched its latest CSR campaign: ‘Find It Early, Fight It Early’. Backed by a mission to reach over 1.5 lakh women in 24 cities, this campaign brings breast cancer education right to the communities that need it the most.
And guess what? Leading the charge is none other than Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson of CSR at Apollo Hospitals, who steps in as the campaign ambassador.
Why This Campaign Matters
Did you know? 1 in 29 Indian women is at risk of developing breast cancer in her lifetime. The saddest part? Most of them discover it too late—when it’s harder to treat.
This is where FUJIFILM’s mission becomes critical. The campaign will:
- Educate women about early signs and symptoms
- Promote self-examinations
- Encourage regular screenings and consultations
- Provide culturally sensitive information in local languages
The goal? Save lives through early detection and empowered choices.
Voice for Women’s Health
Ms. Upasana Kamineni Konidela remarked: This isn’t just about health. It’s about dignity, awareness, and giving women the tools to protect themselves,” says Upasana Kamineni Konidela.
She added that far too many lives are lost not because of lack of treatment—but because of lack of timely information. And this campaign is here to change that.
