Telangana Govt Partners with Alex Kipman

The Telangana government will collaborate with Alex Kipman, CEO of Analog AI and a globally recognised technologist, to develop Physical Intelligence–based solutions aimed at transforming Hyderabad into India’s most livable city. Kipman met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri A. Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad on Thursday to discuss the next wave of technology-led urban development.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister said that Hyderabad is uniquely positioned to become a global hub for innovation and economic growth. He stressed the need to use advanced technology to solve key urban challenges such as traffic congestion, urban flooding, lake protection, industrial pollution monitoring, and weather prediction.

Collaboration to Deploy Physical Intelligence Systems

The Telangana government and Analog AI will work together to integrate real-time sensor networks across Hyderabad. These systems will support improved city management through better monitoring of traffic, safety, utilities, and environmental parameters.

Kipman explained the concept of Physical Intelligence, which bridges artificial intelligence with the physical world using interconnected sensors, robots, drones and city-wide digital infrastructure. He said these solutions can dramatically improve a city’s ability to make accurate predictions, respond to emergencies, and manage public resources.

The Chief Minister emphasised the importance of using Hyderabad’s extensive camera network to improve safety and livability. He also highlighted the state’s commitment to protecting lakes as part of the Musi Rejuvenation Project, stating that Hyderabad’s legacy as the “City of Lakes” must be preserved through modern, smart technologies.

Eight-Week Hyderabad Physical Intelligence Pilot

An eight-week pilot project will soon begin in partnership with Analog AI. This pilot will convert Hyderabad’s existing CCTV network into a real-time city intelligence system, offering predictive insights for traffic flow, emergency response and public safety.

At the end of the pilot, Hyderabad will operate a live Physical Intelligence prototype at the Integrated Command Control Centre (ICCC). This milestone will potentially position Hyderabad as India’s first Physical Intelligence City.

Support for Bharat Future City

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy also discussed the government’s vision for Bharat Future City, planned as a global centre for technology, innovation and sustainability. He requested custom-built solutions from Analog AI that can support long-term economic growth and environmental resilience in the region.

The government assured full support for Analog AI’s study of Telangana’s landscape, challenges, and growth opportunities.

Kipman expressed confidence in developing city-scale smart systems that enhance safety, sustainability and economic development across Telangana.

Invitation to Telangana Rising Global Summit

The Chief Minister invited Alex Kipman to speak at the upcoming Telangana Rising Global Summit, scheduled for December 8–9 at Bharat Future City.
