Google–Reliance Partnership
At the AGM, Pichai announced a new phase of collaboration with Reliance:
- A dedicated Jamnagar Cloud region will be set up to provide advanced AI and cloud computing infrastructure.
- The Cloud region will support Reliance’s telecom, retail, energy, and financial services businesses, strengthening India’s digital backbone.
- This builds on a decade-long partnership, which includes Google’s investment in Jio Platforms and the launch of affordable Android smartphones for India.

Looking ahead, Pichai emphasized the transformative role of AI in India’s future:
- “The AI opportunity in India is extraordinary. It will transform every industry — from the largest enterprises to the smallest stores.”
