St. Joseph’s School, Asmangadh Palace, Malakpet, Hyderabad, marked a proud milestone by celebrating its Silver Jubilee Annual Cultural Festival, AgLumina – Illuminating Talent, Celebrating Excellence. The grand two-day event was held at GSR Conventions, Hasthinapuram and reflected the school’s 25-year journey of dedication to education and all-round development.
Over the years, St. Joseph’s School has built a strong foundation rooted in discipline, values, and academic excellence. Therefore, the Silver Jubilee celebration stood as a tribute to its enduring legacy.
Day One Highlights the School’s Journey
The celebrations began on Saturday, 31 January 2026, with a warm welcome address by the Principal, Mrs. U. A. Sundari. She spoke about the importance of the Silver Jubilee and shared insights into the school’s growth over the years.
The Chief Guest for the day, K. S. Jawahar Reddy, IAS (Retd.), appreciated the school’s consistent progress in academics and co-curricular activities. In addition, M. Anil Kumar, Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax for AP and Telangana, graced the occasion and encouraged students to pursue excellence with integrity.
Day Two Focuses on Inspiration and Values
The celebrations continued on Sunday, 1 February 2026, with blessings from Rev. Msgr. Yeruva Balashowreddy, Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Hyderabad. The Chief Guest, V. Balakista Reddy, Chairman of the Telangana Higher Education Council, inspired students to aim high and stay committed to learning.
Meanwhile, Dhatri Reddy, CEO of Ratan Tata Innovation Hub and an alumna of the school, attended as Guest of Honour. Her presence motivated students by showing how strong school foundations lead to successful careers.
Students from various classes presented colourful cultural performances across both days. However, the highlight was the Grade 9 dance drama, “A Vision That Became a Legacy,” which beautifully portrayed the school’s journey from its founding to the present day.
In addition, gold medals were awarded to ICSE Board Examination 2025 toppers and class-wise achievers. As a result, academic excellence received the recognition it truly deserved.

The AgLumina Silver Jubilee Festival concluded on a joyful and inspiring note. Overall, the event celebrated 25 years of quality education while encouraging students to carry forward the school’s proud legacy with confidence and passion.
