The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FTCCI) has appointed Srinivas Garimella as its new Vice President. The announcement came during the chamber’s Managing Committee meeting held earlier today.
Srinivas is the Chairman of Daifuku Intralogistics India Pvt. Ltd., the Indian arm of Japanese automation leader Daifuku. Earlier, he co-founded Vega Conveyors & Automation, which Daifuku later acquired. His vision and leadership have significantly shaped India’s intralogistics and automation landscape.
Decades of Leadership and Industry Impact
With a long-standing association with FTCCI, Garimella has contributed significantly in various leadership roles, including Chairman of the Industrial Development Committee. His work has centered around promoting MSME growth, skill development, and policy reforms aimed at accelerating industrial growth in Telangana and across India.
In addition to his role at Daifuku, Srinivas is actively involved in multiple industry and educational initiatives. He chairs the Institute Management Committee (IMC) of Government ITI, Vikarabad, where he focuses on bridging the gap between industry requirements and academic training.
Championing Innovation and “Make in India”
Known for his forward-thinking mindset, Srinivas Garimella is also an angel investor, startup mentor, and keynote speaker at national and international forums. His advocacy for technology adoption, sustainability, and India’s manufacturing resurgence under the “Make in India” campaign has positioned him as a thought leader in the sector.
Speaking on the occasion, FTCCI officials expressed confidence in Garimella’s ability to strengthen the chamber’s initiatives and industry outreach in the coming years.
