The Premia Academy was transformed into a lively global village on October 17, 2025, as it successfully hosted Maitri 2025, an Art, Literary, and Cultural Fiesta. Over 300 students from various schools across the city participated, dedicating their collective efforts to the theme, “Forging Futures, One Step at a Time.” This major event provided a vibrant, global stage for young talents to showcase their creativity, collaboration, and confidence through diverse artistic and literary expressions.

A Global Stage for Creativity and Collaboration

The festival featured over 20 vibrant competitions across art, literature, music, dance, and theatre, fostering cultural understanding and imagination. Key events included ‘Tales Across Borders,’ ‘Icons in the Spotlight,’ ‘Festive Footsteps,’ ‘Through the Reporter’s Eye,’ and ‘Global Beats, Meaningful Moves.’

The Academy campus was creatively transformed as each participating school adopted a different country, resulting in a lively celebration of diversity, innovation, and friendship. The aim of Maitri 2025 is to encourage students to discover the world through art and build friendships that transcend school boundaries. Participants noted the event was “an experience that built confidence and friendships beyond schools.”

Inspiration from a Creative Trailblazer

The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Simrat Kaur, a celebrated trailblazer in art, film, and fashion. Known for her Gold Medal in Fine Arts and her impactful VFX work on major films like Life of Pi and The Mummy, Ms. Kaur currently leads The Kaftan Company. She inspired students with her journey of artistic excellence and innovation.

An esteemed panel of judges from diverse creative fields evaluated the performances, recognizing originality and cultural representation with prizes across multiple categories. Ms. Kaur remarked, “It is inspiring to see young students embrace diverse cultures and express their visions for the future through such high-caliber art and literature. Events like this are crucial for building well-rounded, globally aware citizens.”

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Sinduri Reddy, Founder & Managing Director of The Premia Academy, highlighted the event’s core mission: “Maitri 2025 truly reflects our mission: it isn’t just about forging futures—it’s about forging friendships that transcend borders.
