On the second day of his visit to France on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the AI Summit. Speaking about AI, he stated, “AI is changing the lives of millions of people. Over time, the nature of employment is also evolving. We need to pay attention to the impact of AI on jobs. History shows that technology doesn’t take away jobs; it creates new opportunities.”

PM Modi also highlighted that India has developed its digital infrastructure at a very low cost. India is ready to share its experience and expertise to ensure a brighter future for all.

At the summit, he gave an example of AI’s impact: “Let me give you a simple example. If you upload your medical report to an AI app, it can explain, in simple terms, what it means for your health.”

He added, “AI is already reshaping our economy, security, and even our society. AI is writing the code for humanity in this century.”

PM Modi arrived in Paris on a three-day visit on Monday, where he was warmly welcomed. In a post, he shared, “A memorable welcome in Paris! Despite the cold weather, the Indian community showed their affection this evening. We are grateful to our diaspora and proud of their achievements.”

During a reception dinner in Paris, French President Emmanuel Macron warmly embraced PM Modi. In a post, PM Modi wrote, “It was a pleasure meeting my friend, President Macron, in Paris.”
