PM Modi Congratulates Badminton Team:
On August 3, 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the badminton team for taking home the silver medal at the Birmingham CWG 2022.
The Indian badminton team of @srikidambi, @satwiksairaj, @buss reddy, @lakshya sen, @Shettychirag04, Treesa Jolly, Aakarshi Kashyap, @P9Ashwini, Gayatri Gopichand, and @Pvsindhu1 received congratulations for taking home the silver medal at the Birmingham CWG, the Prime Minister wrote in proud of what they’ve accomplished.

In Tuesday’s mixed group match of the Commonwealth Games 2022, the Indian badminton team won the silver medal. The mixed Indian badminton team lost to Malaysia 1-3 and had to settle for silver.
