Nippon Koei India Appoints First-Ever Indian Managing Director

In a major leadership shift, Nippon Koei India Pvt. Ltd. (NKI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan-based ID&E Holdings, has appointed Dr. G. Sampath Kumar as its first-ever Indian Managing Director. Dr. G. Sampath Kumar is a distinguished alumnus of IIT BHU, with more than 35 years of experience in the fields of Civil Engineering and IT consultancy. His career includes prestigious roles in international research institutions, including universities in Japan and Finland. He also contributed to the Public Works Research Institute (PWRI) under the Government of Japan.

His long-standing association with Nippon Koei India positions him as a key driver of strategic growth and operational excellence for the company.
