If you’re a pensioner, November is the month to submit your Jeevan Pramaan Patra (Life Certificate), with only 10 days remaining. If you haven’t submitted it yet, do so soon, or your pension may be halted. The submission window for those under 80 years of age opened on November 1. The last date to submit Jeevan Pramaan certificates for pensioners under 80 is November 30.
There are approximately 69.76 lakh central government pensiones in the country.
Pensioners can submit their life certificates through offline methods like banks, post offices, or other designated centers. If not submitted by the end of November, pension payments will stop in Decemeber. Pensioners can also submit through the Jeevan pramaan portal, Doorstep Banking (DSB) agents, biometric devices at post offices, or physical forms at bank branches. State government employees can submit theirs in person at the treasury office.
Pensioners can verify their identity using biometric technology, including face, fingerprint, and iris recognition, via the Jeevan pramman and Adhar Face RD App. To ensure smooth processing, ensure that your Adhaar number is updated with the pension disbursing authority, such as your bank or post office.
