On Tuesday, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar informed Parliament about the India-China border dispute. He said that both countries are trying to resolve the issue through talk and diplomacy. Full disengagement has been completed in Eastern Ladakh, but there are still disputes in some areas along the LAC. India’s goal is to find a solution that both countries can accept.

He also mentioned that relations between India and China have not been normal since 2020 due to disruptions in peace along the border. However, recent talks have improved the situation slightly.

External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said that in the last two years, 38 meetings have taken place between India and China, with talks at every level. He mentioned that discussions with the China foreign Minister and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have helped improve relations.
