Indian Stock Market Closes Lower After Two Days of Gains, Experiences Volatility

After two days of gains, the Indian stock market closed lower today, experiencing significant volatility. The BSE Sensex ended at 80,004.06, down by 105.79 points, and the Nifty closed at 24,194.50, down by 27.40 points. During the day, the Sensex reached a high of 80,482.36 and a low of 79,798.67. Similarly, the Nifty 50 had a high of 24,343.30 and a low of 24,125.40.

Ultratech Cement Saw the Biggest Loss

On Tuesday, 14 of the 30 Sensex companies closed in the green, while 16 companies closed in the red. Among the Nifty 50, 23 companies gained, while 27 closed lower. Asian Paints had the highest gain of 1.76%, and Ultratech Cement saw the biggest loss, down by 3.07%.
