Niladri Kumar is a fifth-generation sitarist. He trained under his father and guru, Pt. Kartick Kumar. His unique technique and his invention, the Zitar, have redefined how Indian classical music connects with modern audiences. As a result, he has become one of India’s most respected and innovative musicians.
