iCollab Launches in Hyderabad to Power Startups in B2G Market

In a first-of-its-kind move, the iCollab Hub Foundation (iCollab), an initiative by Raminfo Limited, was officially launched in Hyderabad to accelerate startup participation in India’s $700 billion public procurement market. The launch marks a significant milestone in India’s innovation landscape by bridging the gap between startups and government agencies through a dedicated Business-to-Government (B2G) revenue accelerator.

The B2G space in India has long remained a complex and underutilized opportunity for emerging startups, often hindered by challenges in compliance, eligibility, and understanding government procurement processes. iCollab steps in to simplify and streamline this process, offering startups a guided pathway into one of the largest markets in the world — public sector procurement.

Located in a state-of-the-art 25,000 sq. ft. facility, iCollab provides a collaborative and inclusive workspace for early-stage startups to learn, network, and scale. Leveraging over 30 years of experience from its parent company, Raminfo Limited, iCollab aims to build a robust ecosystem for B2G entrepreneurs by offering strategic mentorship, procurement readiness programs, proposal development support, and direct access to government partnerships.

iCollab focuses on helping startups become “procurement ready,” with hands-on support in navigating regulatory frameworks, developing eligibility credentials, and formulating high-impact proposals. The goal is not only to open doors to government business but to help startups build sustainable, scalable B2G models.

High-Profile Launch Ceremony

The launch event was attended by prominent dignitaries and ecosystem leaders, including Shri D Sridhar Babu Garu, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce and Legal Affairs, Government of Telangana.

Speaking at the event, Shri D Sridhar Babu emphasized the importance of initiatives like iCollab in catalyzing public-private partnerships. “Public procurement is a massive, often overlooked opportunity for startups. Platforms like iCollab provide the necessary tools, mentorship, and networks to navigate this space and build scalable impact. The Government of Telangana supports such initiatives and remains committed to nurturing an innovation-driven economy,” he said.

Also present were visionaries such as J A Chowdary (Founder of ISF and Former IT Advisor to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh), Aloria G. R., IAS (Retd.) (Former Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat), and Sujit Jagirdar, CIO at T-Hub. These leaders shared deep insights on how B2G collaborations could redefine public service delivery and accelerate innovation in governance.

The Mission to Empower 100 Startups by 2030

At the heart of iCollab’s mission is a bold vision: to empower 100 startups to generate ₹100 crore in revenue each by 2030 through B2G engagements.

“Government procurement in India is a $700 billion opportunity, and startups often miss out due to entry barriers,” said Shri L. Srinath Reddy, Chairman of iCollab Hub Foundation and Managing Director of Raminfo Limited. “With iCollab, we are creating a structured ecosystem that enables startups to integrate with public systems, scale their solutions, and build impactful, long-term businesses.”

Shri Bhanu Prakash Reddy Varla, Board Member of iCollab Hub Foundation and Partner & Director of Growth and Strategy at Plural Technology Pvt Ltd, added, “At iCollab, we believe that the future belongs to startups solving real-world challenges through technology. We are committed to building a community of innovators who can scale with government support and create large-scale public value.”

Catalyzing a New Era of Public Sector Innovation

The event also facilitated dialogue among government officials, startup founders, and industry leaders on building effective B2G collaboration frameworks. Discussions ranged from technology adoption in governance to simplifying procurement procedures for startups and the role of mentorship in unlocking public sector innovation.

With the launch of iCollab, India is witnessing the beginning of a new chapter in its startup story — one where public sector engagement becomes a viable and profitable growth pathway. As more founders look to solve large-scale, real-world problems, platforms like iCollab will play a crucial role in shaping the future of B2G entrepreneurship in India.
