
The Hyderabad City Police, in partnership with the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC), launched 50 new traffic patrolling bikes.3 Traffic Towing Trucks and deployed 125 trained traffic marshals to improve road safety and traffic flow in the city.
Hyderabad Police Smarter Traffic Management
The patrolling bikes are equipped with PA systems, UHF microphones, LED batons, dashboard cameras, GPS trackers, first aid kits, wheel clamp carriers, tablets, and body-worn cameras. These features will help officers manage traffic more effectively and respond quickly during emergencies.
Role of Traffic Marshals

In addition, 100 traffic marshals have been trained by Hyderabad Traffic Police. They will be posted at busy junctions and traffic bottlenecks to guide commuters and assist police teams. Their presence aims to make traffic movement smoother and reduce congestion.

Several hospitals, colleges, and corporate organizations extended their support. Their contribution highlights the importance of collaboration between the police and the private sector.
