The RAI Retailers Association of India’s Hyderabad Chapter organized an unprecedented celebration for Retail Employees Day, bringing together over 2500 retail employees from more than 30 retailers originating from Telangana for the R.E.D WALK (One Kilometer Oneness walk around HI Tech City). This iconic event was held at T-WORKS in HitechCity, marking a memorable day for the retail community in Telangana.
Mr. Avnish Kumar, Chairman of RAI – Hyderabad Chapter and Managing Director of Neeru’s, expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “This is a one-of-a-kind initiative by any retail body across India, where state-originated retailers came forward to celebrate this day with their employees on such a large scale. We are delighted to host this celebration at the Hyderabad Chapter and make it a memorable event for the brands and their employees.”
The event featured a series of engaging activities, including Zumba sessions and lively dance performances, culminating in the much-anticipated One Kilometer RED WALK. Shri Jayesh Ranjan Ji (IAS), the event’s Guest of Honour, shared insights on the significance of retail employment in Telangana, commending RAI for organizing an event that spotlights the local retail industry and its contributions to the community. “It is heartening to see the best brands from Telangana come together to celebrate retail employees, who are the pride of Hyderabad,” he said.
The RED WALK took place in the picturesque surroundings of T-WORKS, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the participants. The event not only encouraged physical activity but fostered a sense of unity among the retail workforce, reinforcing the importance of community and collaboration within the industry.
