The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) has announced the second edition of the FTCCI-NMDC President’s Cup 2025, a unique Industrial Cricket League. The five-day tournament will begin tomorrow at The Pavilion Cricket Stadium near Appa Junction.
The league brings together corporate teams from across sectors. It aims to promote teamwork, wellness, and collaboration beyond the workplace.
Chief Guests and Opening Ceremony
The tournament will be inaugurated in the presence of Sri Naveen Yadav, MLA – Jubilee Hills, and Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Saifabad, who will attend as chief guests.
Why the Industrial Cricket League Matters
Speaking about the initiative, FTCCI leadership said the Industrial Cricket League plays an important role in strengthening camaraderie among organisations. It offers employees a platform to connect beyond boardrooms and daily work routines.

Strong Participation from Industry
FTCCI Secretary Ms. Veena said the response to the tournament was overwhelming. However, due to time constraints, participation was limited to eight teams this year.
“We plan to expand the league to 12 teams in the coming editions,” she added.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The FTCCI-NMDC President’s Cup 2025 will be played in a round-robin league format over five days:
- December 13
- December 14
- December 20
- December 21
- December 28
The eight participating teams are divided into two groups and will compete across multiple matches leading to the finals.
