In the Startup Ranking, Uttar Pradesh is on track to be one of the top three states. The state government is working to build a strong startup ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh currently has 47 incubators, with more planned for the coming year. The Startup Policy seeks to create a comprehensive startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state.

Rather than working for someone else, the younger generation prefers to be their own boss. They are brimming with innovative ideas and simply require assistance from an ecosystem of mentors and guides who can hold their hands and guide them to the next level.

GETFUNDED is a Lucknow-based platform that assists startups from ideation to scale. Aparna and Aditya, a mother-son team, co-founded it.

Aparna Mishra has been involved in the startup ecosystem for many years and has gained valuable experience working with and mentoring start-ups from across India.

CORN JUNCTION, founded by Ajay, Vivek, and Sandeep, is a trio of inspiring and energetic young minds who were noticed by NRI and angel investor Mr. Manoj Mishra, who became interested in the Founders and loved their business model.

Ajay Chaurasia shared their expansion plans, stating that over 50 small farmers will be able to grow sweet corn on an area of 100+ acres in Eastern UP over the next year, serving as a hub for supplying fresh, natural sweet corn to Corn Junction’s various outlets.

Corn Junction, on the other hand, plans to open up to 100 new locations in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Kanpur, and Gorakhpur, creating over 140 new job opportunities.

Corn Junction received an undisclosed amount for their pre-seed round. They are all excited to expand and rework their strategies in order to present CORN in delicious, zingy, and healthy flavors.
